I just realised that my last post was at Christmas….I am ashamed to have been absent for so long but work has literally taken over my life…it’s a good problem to have I guess!
While reading the Neo-Trad Blog last night, I found this wonderful post about an upcoming documentary about , Iris Apfel,one of my style icons. In a world full of carbon copies, this woman stands out with her original clothing and jewellery…she mixes cheap with couture and vintage with faux fur…she is quite simply an original and spectacularly so!
I cannot wait to see the documentary, but for those of you who may not know her, here are some images to show you a little something of her magic.

and I would kill for access to Iris Apfel’s dressing room…her wardrobe is legendary and her accessories surely must be the same! Her bracelets…her necklaces…beads and feathers and wood! The textures!!!
