Exciting news….

In the spirit of Ramadan and focusing on health and wellbeing, I have started a walking program at one of the Malls close to my home..(and no, that is not the exciting news! )

I am trying to walk for at least 30 minutes a day for now, and hopefully build up to an hour in a few weeks. I have not attempted a serious fitness program since breaking my ankle in 2011 and I am determined to get fit enough to start dance classes again.

I feel  most fortunate to have a very large mall (about 3.2km both ways) to enable us to walk inside because  I find it unbearable to even attempt to walk outside in the heat and humidity. Dodging the shoppers can be challenging but I am determined to get fit and this is the only way I can do it until we are able to exercise outdoors again.

Onto MUCH more exciting news…the Royal Baby is on his/her way!!

As a devoted Royalist, I am so excited to finally find out what  the Royal baby will be…but I guess we will have to wait until the morning! The crowds outside the Palace and the hospital are insane and the vibe in the city must be incredible…

There are even people who have been camping outside the hospital for about 12 days! I am not sure my loyalty to the British Monarchy extends that far, but I can certainly appreciate their enthusiasm!

I have a feeling it will be a little girl….anyone else  agree with me?
